About BLW

Welcome to Blackladywriter.com, where we delve into intersectional feminist topics within the African context. Our mission is to demystify feminism and showcase its relevance in everyday life. We are particularly passionate about uncovering the roles of women in pre-colonial history, challenging misconceptions, and inspiring change within the African community. We initiate crucial conversations about ecofeminism, politics, human rights, and social justice, and serve as a resource for young people seeking to make a difference

Originally launched in 2019 as a lifestyle blog, Blackladywriter.com has evolved into a platform dedicated to spotlighting inequalities within African communities and advocating for more equitable societies. With over 300,000 reads and 500+ comments, our blog has covered a wide range of topics, including climate and women, politics, and entrepreneurship.

Unfortunately, in December 2023, we experienced a setback when Blackladywriter.com was lost along with all its content. However, many of our articles are accessible on the web archive at https://web.archive.org/web/20230518135000/https://blackladywriter.com/

Now, that we are back and relaunched to continue serving our diverse audiences, we invite you to explore our diverse content and share your thoughts by leaving a comment. Thank you for your continued support as we strive to amplify marginalized voices and advocate for social change.
